A850 is a high capacity, organic fouling resistant, gelular, acrylic Type One, strongly basic anion resin, supplied in the chloride or hydroxide form as moist, tough, uniform spherical beads. A850 is intended for use in all types of deionization systems and chemical processing applications, where water temperatures do not exceed 90 Deg. F. Demineralization A850 is highly recommended for use in multiple and mixed bed demineralizers, where-ever complete ion removal and organic fouling resistance is required.
NOTE: Tannin Filter systems will not work well if there is iron present in the incoming water. Iron removal should occur prior to use of a Tannin Filter system. In addition, water hardness must be less than 10 grains per gallon and tannin levels not greater than 3 ppm. Purolite A850 Specifications
