MATRIKX® Carbon Filters are made using high performance coconut shell activated carbon, unique binders, and a proprietary manufacturing process that delivers industry leading performance. 
The enhanced family of MATRIKX® activated carbon filters meet exacting performance requirements and/or claims, and specific models meet the requirements of NSF/ANSI for chlorine, chloramine, VOC and THM reduction, particulate, cyst, turbidity, and lead reduction.
